Tokubetsu Hozon Tsuba Signed Masahiro and Naoyoshi

An authentic iron Nade-kaku-gata (rounded rectangular) Tsuba from the Edo period, certified Tokubetsu Hozon by the NBTHK.

The piece features Kiku-zukushi (all-over chrysanthemum) design carved in Takabori (high relief). The design representing dew drops on the petals—a classic Japanese symbol of longevity, royalty, and autumn elegance. The signature is Masahiro with carving attributed to Fujūken Naoyoshi (Fujūken Naoyoshi hori).
