All items are shipped directly from Japan using Japan Post via EMS (Express Mail Service) or Surface Mail. Worldwide shipping costs are fully included in the price of the item.
Every package is entirely insured during transit. Shipping delay takes around 10 days by plane and 2/3 month by boat.
Strict Export Legislation about exporting swords oversea:
The export of authentic Japanese swords (Nihonto) is strictly regulated by the Japanese Government.
Before any shipment can leave Japan, we must obtain an official export permit from the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Please note that processing this legal authorization takes approximately 3 weeks.
Due to strict international airline regulations regarding weaponry, air freight (such as EMS) is unavailable for swords to many destinations. Consequently, swords will be securely shipped via Surface Mail (Ocean Freight).
Delivery by Surface Mail generally takes between 2 to 3 months. We kindly ask you to take this transit time into consideration when placing your order.

Returns and Refunds
If an item does not match its description, it may be eligible for a return
To qualify, the item must be shipped back within 3 days of receipt.
Return shipping costs and any associated fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The item must be returned in its original, undamaged, and unaltered condition to receive a refund.
